Clearing the Tables Correctly

While working in the Dome Restaurant and especially at bigger events at the Devonshire Dome I discovered a very effective technique to stack plates and cups. I realised how important it is to be as quick and discrete about clearing tables as possible in order to reduce the waiting time for guests without interrupting their conversations.

With a lot of practise I managed to improve my clearing skills from being able to carry three plates to being able to clear a whole table of seven on my own.

By this I learned that finding effective and practical solutions and techniques is very important and can make a significant difference. One should always look for improving all their skills in reasonable and logical ways. This will result in satisfied guests and will give them the impression that the service provided is professional.
